Is there a Back Pain Pandemic?

By Uncategorized No Comments

At 36 I feel under-qualified to have a back issue that is preventing me from leaving the house on some days 🙁

I spent the whole lockdown sitting on my 🍑, jumping from one client zoom call to the next… Not to mention the 15 years of office work leading up to this.

It hit me really bad 18 months ago when I couldn’t sleep for 2 nights straight as I developed a bulging disc.

As I’ve been looking for help all this time – I’ve been hearing from more and more friends of my age or even younger that they also started to experience sciatica and lower back issues recently. Just last month a friend of mine had it so bad – he had to undergo an emergent back surgery 😥

I assume a lot of us are also spending quite a bit of time on our lovely 🍑s, so I decided to talk about it here, because I want to:

1 – OPEN UP this conversation for others who are also feeling under-qualified to be experiencing back pain right now. And to encourage you to take good care of it early on

2 – SHARE RESOURCES – if you had lower back issues that you managed to heal – please share

I feel like I tried everything in the last 18 months and starting to loose hope. From fisio, osteo, back strengthening (can’t do it properly as it flares up every time I start), a touch of acupuncture, dry needles, homeopathy, energy healing, and therapy.

What else is out there…?

3 – GET ENCOURAGEMENT – please send healing vibes and positive thoughts my way while I’m going through the current flare-up, also to my friend who is recovering from the surgery and to anyone else out there struggling with this.

I’m fantasising about a moment in time when I feel strong in my body again and looking back on today’s day – I discover that there was a super-valuable lesson in all of this. And my heart fills with gratitude for this experience and for the healing.

Until then – I’m still in search of that ‘lesson’ and I’d love pointers from you where else I could turn to?

Please share in the comments (or message me directly) any helpful resources and positive stories.

Thank you so much 🙏

Who embodies the Feminine energy in its true power for you?

By Uncategorized No Comments

As a teenager, I became terrified of women. I surrounded myself with girls who were hyper-materialistic, competitive, and mean.

No surprise that I felt a lot more comfortable forging friendships with guys, and later generally felt a lot more at ease around men.

That experience was totally my choice.

I didn’t want to be in the goofy club of girls who dressed simply, loved playing football, and were generally kind and decent humans.

So, not so popular with teenage boyz!

It took me quite a few years to stop fearing women, rewire my mindset and create genuine and lasting female friendships.

Looking back, I realise now that what hurt me were not those girls per se, but the toxic feminine qualities that they embodied.

Thanks to later meeting SO many incredible women in their true power I have discovered that when feminine energy is well-balanced – it comes with beautiful gifts of Kindness, Intuition, Creativity, and Joy! ✨

And this is what I want to celebrate today – the Gifts that we so naturally bring about into this world when we are comfortable in our own skin.

As you’re reading this – I know you WILL know who you are, you amazing sparks of Joy, Kindness, and Creativity.

I’m so grateful to have you in my life, it’s helping me heal my relationship with my own Feminine energy. Thank you.

Happy Women’s Day, my Lovelies! 🌷

Should I be more REAL on LinkedIn or better to keep it PROFESH?

By Uncategorized No Comments

Most Coaches are telling me that they CRAVE being more authentic in all areas of their lives.

This is the reason they left their high-paying corporate jobs and followed the dream to run their own practice.

But at the same time, I see a lot of hesitation to embrace this value when posting on LinkedIn.

WHY?

“Well, it’s a professional platform, so it’s better to keep it suited-and-booted here and share your dog-walking photos on Facebook or instagram, right?”

NOT REALLY!

In the sea of blue suits and white shirts against grey backgrounds, what do you think will stand out?

Your PUP! 🐕

“So, am I just doing it for the ‘puppy effect’ then?”

NO!

…so that you follow your dream and values to BE REAL, whatever platform you’re on.

…so that people get to know you better, cause you need a lot deeper rapport with your audience in order for someone to decide to coach with you.

It’s not like selling b2b services.

People need to see the real you in order to feel they can trust you when sharing vulnerable stuff in coaching conversations.

I literally NEVER hired a coach who hasn’t shared something personal about them that resonated with me – either our CTI front-of-room leaders sharing real challenges, or coaches I hired after following them online.

OF COURSE

you gotta add VALUE in your posts too, LinkedIn is NOT your “Dear Diary,…” space.

SO

be real AND educate, empower, inspire in the same post,

EG

telling a tale of leadership through the experience of your dog’s ability to stay in the present moment no matter the situation, etc… etc….

So ONE thing that I’d love for you to walk away with – is understanding that AUTHENTIC, REAL content on LinkedIn – is your MOST effective way to attract clients and have lots of fun along the way.

LinkedIn algorithm is sooo behind your craving for greater authenticity and self-expression.

Why not ride the wave? 🌊
