The KEY part of building a successful coaching practice as a Highly Sensitive Person is dealing with anxiety that comes up when offering your services.
[extract from an interview with Anna Wolas, alumni of the Fully Booked Coach program]
KATRIN: You can have a lot of anxiety come up when jumping on an enrolment call, thinking: “Ok, there is some selling’s gonna happen here.”
How do you manage that?
ANNA: As coaches we have the tools of going through a sales call like… coaches, right?
We just approach it as a coaching session!
That really helped me to remember to be AUTHENTIC in those conversations.
I know I have a great program, and it is well-aligned with who I am and how I work as a coach. Also with my experience, with my background,
so, yeah, I am confident with it!
And I can leave it on the side and just focus on that PERSON, start coaching them on that call.
And at the end, if I see that there is alignment, and that person would actually BENEFIT highly my program – I just go ahead and describe what the journey looks like.
And it happens organically!
If you think of it as a coaching conversation, then it’s flowing!
And you’re finding people who are ready, who are resonating with you. So there is chemistry!

Many coaches are deeply empathetic which opens us up to feeling highly sensitive at times. And it can get in the way of running a thriving coaching practice.
I’m so proud for Anna to find a way to manage those tendencies and empower her clients who need support with it too.
